Montana Tech Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Program

June 16, 2024 - June 21, 2024

MATERIALS ENGINEERING SUMMER PROGRAM
Montana Tech Campus
Butte, Montana
June 16-21, 2024

Montana high school students are invited to apply to participate in our Materials Science and Engineering Summer Program. This week-long residential program is for rising high school juniors and seniors interested in exploring careers in science or engineering.

The program features hands-on learning in our outstanding materials labs in addition to field trips, visits to local industrial operations, and guest speakers. The culminating experience is a design-oriented project to spur friendly competition and emphasize the advantages and benefits of collaboration.

Lodging, meals, and all course materials will be provided free of charge (participants will be responsible for transportation to and from the campus).

To apply, click the button below and fill out the application form by April 1, 2024. Spaces are limited, so we encourage interested students to apply as soon as possible. Successful applicants will be notified by April 15, 2024 and asked to complete a confirmation form that includes parental consent.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope to see you at the workshop!
